Cleopatra Avdellidou MD, MSc - Psychiatrist

Cleopatra Avdellidou (MD, MSc.) graduated in 1999 from the Medical School of the Democritus University of Thrace. She completed her specialty at Evaggelismos Hospital in 2011.
In 2014, she obtained the Msc. of the Postgraduate Program “Promotion of Mental Health Prevention - Mental Disorders” of the Kapodistrian University of Athens Medical School.
She has also attended the seminar “Cognitive Psychotherapy” of the First Psychiatric Clinic of NKUA and she completed the Theoretical and Clinical training in Family Behavioral Therapy and Psychoeducational Interventions by the Greek Association of Behavioral Research.
  • She has attended the “Interdepartmental Program of Clinical Postgraduate Training in Team Dynamics in Psychiatric Frameworks” of the Department of Psychology and First Psychiatric Clinic of NKUA during the period 2015-2016.
  • She has been an associate member of the Hellenic Institute for Group Analytic and Family Psychotherapy since 2017.
  • She has been a member of the International Psychotherapy Institute and has been attending the Foundations of Psychoanalytic Couple Therapy Course: Parts A-F on “Special Topics in the Theory, Technique, and Practice of Couple Therapy since 2018.
  • She has attended, among others, a series of one-year seminars at the Aiginiteio Hospital, the EPIPSY/UMHRI and the Institute of Psychosocial Development.
  • She has been a member of the scientific team of the University Mental Health Research Institute (EPIPSY/UMHRI) of the University of Athens in the Program: “Against the Stigma of Mental Disorders”.
  • She has published in scientific journals and has been a member of the Scientific Team (EPIPSY/UMHRI) of the University of Athens, overseeing the screening of the film: “People Call Me Crazy”.
  • She has attended and presented papers at International and Panhellenic Congresses of Psychiatry, and has been a member of the group “Translation and Adaptation of the comprehensive assessment of at-risk mental states (CARAMS) in Greece”.
  • From 2018, she participates in the Post Graduate Program “Implemented Economics and Management” of the Panteion University with the lecture “Leadership Roles and Working Groups”.
  • From 2011 to 2020 she was head of department at the Private Psychiatric Clinic “Salpetieri” and since 2020 she has been collaborating with the Lyrakou Psychiatric Clinic providing her expertise in the hospital and outpatient clinics. She has maintained a private practice since 2011.
