It is well known that mental illnesses usually require medium and long term support and monitoring to prevent recurrence of the disease, which often leads to the patient re-entering the clinic.

In order to avoid the patient's relapse and help solve the problems that often arise when trying to  re-enter the family, social and professional sector, doctors and clinical psychologists provide support and follow-up after the treatment of the patient.

Usually after his discharge the patient is asked to sign the «therapeutic contract», ie the monitoring at regular intervals at the outpatient clinic by psychiatrists and clinical psychologists.
